Senior Scene Newsletter Online

The Senior Scene Newsletter is a free, monthly publication that contains up-to-date and helpful information about all programs, activities and services for city seniors.

Membership
The fee for a membership card is $2.00. The cards do not expire and are good at all city Senior Centers. The bar code on the cards is scanned when transportation, meals and other services are used. The scan helps generate reports about the number and type of services used by the cardholder. Federal and State governments then provide partial reimbursement to the city for the services provided.

To apply for a membership card:

  • Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. any Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month, bring the completed enrollment form to the Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center, 1121 Alto Street. Your photo will be taken and a card will be issued.

Seniors Advisory Board
The Senior Advisory Board meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month.  The Board makes recommendations and suggestions, presents ideas, articulates needs and expresses concerns about the issues of seniors in Santa Fe.
