Santa Fe County residents can sign up to receive emergency alerts from the
Santa Fe Regional Emergency Communications Center's SantaFe911 system. SantaFe911 will send emergency alerts and notifications only. SantaFe911 will NOT send notifications of meetings, events or activities. When you receive a SantaFe911 alert, you will know it is a genuine emergency.

Why is it important to sign up for SantaFe911?
Santa Fe 911 will notify residents in emergency situations only. Examples of emergency situations are a gas leak, a hostage situation or weather emergency that requires a neighborhood evacuation.
I have Nixle so why do I need to sign up for SantaFe911?
SantaFe911 is not related to or a part of the Nixle system. Nixle has the capability to send out emergency alerts however agencies often use Nixle to send a wide variety of notifications that are not emergency related. SantaFe911 will be used for emergencies only.
What types of alerts will I receive from SantaFe911?
You will receive emergency notifications and alerts via voice (cell phones and land lines), text or email.
Will my personal information be sold or shared?
Your information will not be sold or shared, it is strictly confidential and will only be used to notify you in an emergency.
