Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble viewing SFGTV 28 webcasts, try the following:

Mac OS X users can download the free Mozilla Firefox Browser and the free VLC browser (instructions below).

You will only need to do these steps once on your Mac to watch future webcasts.

• Download the FREE VLC browser plug-in from VideoLAN.
  • Click on the "download" link
  • Choose your operating system under "Binaries" (Mac OS X)   
  • Check your Operating System Version (e.g. 10.4.11, 10.5.1, 10.6)
    • In the Apple Menu, choose "About This Mac"
  • Click the link for the Web Browser Plugin for your Mac Operating System
  • The download will start and a few moments later (depending on your Internet speed) the Installer Application will open
  • Click the Continue button on the "Install VideoLAN VLC Internet Plug-In"
  • Choose your Mac's hard drive as the destination and click the "Continue" button the screen
  • Click the "Install" button on the screen to install the browser plug-in
  • Type in your computer's administrator user name and password
  • After the software installs, you will need to quit yoru web browser and relaunch it for your new plub-in to work
  • Navigate your browser to the City of Santa Fe's webpage and click on SFGTV Webcast in the upper left corner of the homepage
